Spanish Tapas Class! Tapas originated as a piece of toast with a tasty topping that could be placed on top of a glass of wine as the person talked and laughed their way through the light snack prior dinner. Join us for this class as Chef Bryce Tugwell takes us to a scrumptious and blissful tour of this fascinating topic. This class is slated for more than 2 hours and a strong possibility for 3 hours as there is so much to cover and so much to make (and eat.) This is a partial hands on class. Definitely feel free to bring your own bottle to this one! Saturday, February 25th, 2:00pm to 5:00pm. $42.00 per attendant.
Knife Skills Class! Tired of chopping off your finger tips, or being scared of your knife, or chopping uneven pieces, or want to chop with confidence without all of the fore mentioned issues? This is your class! Cathy Harokopis will direct us in this class. This class will have plenty of hands on time as we chop our way through a pile of vegetables to make a bunch of tasty treats. We are limiting the enrollment of this hands-on class to 12 people. Bring your own chef’s knife if you have one. We will have a few extra knives for people to share. $40.00 per person. Saturday, March 24th, 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
**Special note. At our recent Mexican cooking class we decided to have more classes that were completely hands on. Meaning you, the class participant, will make the recipes as we demonstrate and talk you through the recipes. We had a very positive response to this style of class and more was learned and more laughter was heard. It was a joy, as we sat down to eat our creations, to have different team members explain how they made the recipe to the other teams. We will limit the enrollment for these hands-on classes to 10 to 12 people.
Mediterranean Cooking Class. The foods of the Mediterranean have been touted as some of the healthiest in the world. Join me for this mini-class as we journey (gastronomically) to warmer lands to sample some of these wonderful cuisines. Recipe packet of the foods we discuss and make will be included. Friday evening, March 3rd, 6:00pm to 6:45pm. (This is a mini-class; a jam packed 45 minute class to get you cooking!) $15.00 per attendant.
