Cedar Grilling Planks
Soak these planks in luke-warm water for a minimum of 20 minutes. Pat dry. Place the planks directly on the rack of a hot grill. Immediately place your food item on the plank, close the lid of the grill and continue with the directions for your food item. When done, take the planks off the grill and let cool in a safe place. Once cool to the touch; brush off any charred wood and wipe down with a damp cloth. Store the planks in a large baggie inside a metal container for safety (if not completely cooled they can start a fire.) These can be used multiple times dependant upon length of soaking time and length of time on the grill. Enjoy!
